I’m the heart and soul behind Read My Tulips NYC and the creator of Blooms & Booze, a floral arranging workshop series that mixes flower power with cocktail hour. My goal? To create experiences that feel as good as they look, leave you lighter than you came, and teach you a ritual of self-care you can actually keep.
Before Blooms & Booze existed, I was burning out. Nine years in fine dining hospitality had me juggling every role—server, bartender, sommelier, lead banquet server—while trying to stay sane in a city that never slows down. Anxiety and depression were real. I needed a pause, a way to reconnect with myself.
Flowers became my therapy. Cocktail creation became my joy. Mixing blooms and spirits wasn’t just creative—it was healing. And it worked. Slowly, I started to reclaim my energy, my confidence, and my love for connecting with people. That’s when I realized: I had to share this. I had to create something for others who were running on empty but still craving connection, creativity, and calm.
My Credentials (and why you can trust me)
•Certified florist, bartender, and sommelier
•9+ years in fine dining and hospitality
•Experience running events from intimate birthday celebrations to corporate team-building for clients like Google, Nike, Sony Pictures, Vinson & Elkins, Appleby Law Firm, and the Department of Education
Basically, I know how to throw a memorable event and keep the vibes just right.
How Blooms & Booze Works
This isn’t your average floral class. Each workshop is a curated, social self-care experience:
It’s designed for busy professionals, corporate teams, or friends who haven’t seen each other in months. It’s for anyone who wants to slow down, create something beautiful, and reconnect—with themselves, their colleagues, or their community.
Building a Community
What started as a personal ritual grew into a community. Every Blooms & Booze workshop is about more than flowers and cocktails; it’s about connection, creativity, and care. People leave with a bouquet, yes… but also with a sense of calm, a few new friends, and a little more joy than they came with.
Whether you’re planning a corporate wellness event, a team offsite, or a private celebration with your people, I’d love to host you. Let’s make something beautiful;
One bouquet, one cocktail, one meaningful connection at a time.
